Village on the Squeaks: Retailers Flee Project

We’ve noticed quite a throng of retailers departing from Rogers’ Village on the Creeks development.

First it was Secret Ingredients, then Bed Bugs, and now it’s the upscale clothier Blue.

Blue is in the process of moving its digs to a downtown Bentonville location. Bath Junkie, a former Village on the Creeks tenant, is also now in downtown Bentonville.

Another upscale women’s boutique, Pink Bamboo, will move up the road next year to a location in The Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills, a project by The Pinnacle Group. We hear from the Pink folks that too much office space makes for dull retail traffic.
