Five houses in Johnsons posh Clear Creek community off Arkansas Highway 112 will be featured in the fourth annual Avenue of Dreams. The event, set from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 17, benefits Life Styles Inc., a nonprofit organization that helps adults with developmental disabilities.

The homes are built near The Blessing golf course that was developed by John Tyson and designed by Robert Trent Jones. The cost to tour all five houses is $20.

Last year, the event drew about 700 people and raised $12,000, said Connie Stout, director of development. This year she expects even more foot traffic.

The houses at the gated community range from $700,000 to $1 million, Greg Taylor, a Realtor with The Griffin Company said.

Taylor who has two homes represented at the event.

Stout said the events importance to the charity is significant because federal and state funding are shrinking.
