Lovers of upscale Chinese food might not have to drive to Tulsa to get their fix. The word in national retail circles is that P.F. Chang’s China Bistro is slated to put a location in Rogers’ Pinnacle Hills Promenade development.

The Pinnacle Group, which is developing the 980,000-SF project with General Growth Partners Inc., declined comment on any potential tenants. The Promenade will occupy 106 acres near Interstate 540.

It’s already been widely reported that a 99,000-SF J.C. Penney store and a 50,000-SF, 12-screen AMC movie theater have committed to the shopping center.

A 155,000-SF, two-level Dillard’s store is also slated as an anchor. Dillard’s announced it would build a store at Pinnacle Promenade about a year ago.

Chang’s has no existing restaurants in “The Natural State.” The closest one is located in Tulsa.

Gadget store The Sharper Image might be another tenant, but it’s too early to say for sure.
