Washington Regional Gala Reaches $60K

Bill Rogers, executive director of The Washington Regional Foundation, said that the 12th Annual Washington Regional Foundation Gala raised more than $60,000. He said the amount is comparable to funds raised from the same event in 2004.
About 1,000 people attended the April 5 event, which was held at the Walton Arts Center. The evening featured a performance by Engelbert Humperdinck. The $15,000 Eagle Sponsor for 2005 was Arvest Bank. Sponsorships started at $500 and individual balcony seats sold from $40 to $75.
The beneficiaries of the 2005 gala are the Fayetteville City Hospital and The Washington Regional Wound Care Clinic.
The 2005 Eagle Award winners, Johnelle and J.B. Hunt and Fred Vorsanger, were also honored that evening.
