DuFour Becomes Ella?s Top Chef

Matt DuFour, who has been with Ella’s Restaurant since it opened in August 2003, became executive chef in January. DuFour was previously sous chef at the restaurant, which is located in The Inn at Carnall Hall on the University of Arkansas campus.

DuFour replaced Lyle James, who replaced his brother Miles James, who left Ella’s in November to concentrate on his restaurant in Johnson, James at the Mill.

Originally from Denver, DuFour moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1995. He has worked at James at the Mill, Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, the River Grille in Bentonville and Otis Zark at Terra in Durham.
