Dallas Real Estate Services Inc. of Fayetteville filed a response on March 2 to a lawsuit by a former agent, denying most of his complaints but admitting that other employees had been in on a Sept. 26 e-mail about the plaintiff.

Lloyd “Laddy” A. Diebold III filed suit Jan. 31 alleging breach of contract and “tortuous interference with business expectancy.”

Diebold told the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal that David Dallas meant to e-mail only his business partner Brandon Barber but accidentally sent the e-mail to about 12 other real estate sales agents that referenced the possible departure of Diebold.

According to the lawsuit, Diebold was fired the next Monday.

Diebold is asking the court for unspecified compensatory damages.

Linda Goggins, a publicist for Dallas Real Estate, released this prepared statement to the Business Journal:

“We dispute the allegations made by Mr. Diebold, and our attorneys are vigorously representing our interests.”
