Stooges Closes Mall Restaurant

In mid-January, Ronnie and Robin Wheat closed Stooges, a make-your-own burrito eatery, in the food court of Fayetteville’s Northwest Arkansas Mall.
The couple opened the restaurant in November 2003.
We were unable to reach the Wheats, who live in Springdale, for a comment.
When the restaurant opened, Ronnie Wheat said it was patterned after The Flying Burrito in Fayetteville and Atomic Burrito in Tulsa.
Stooges occupied a 409-SF space in the food court.
Alice Church, the mall manager, said she doesn’t have a prospect yet for the space in the food court.
