Joe Fennel has added two partners to his two-story, 13,000-SF Bordino’s project on Fayetteville’s Dickson Street: Mark Blackwood, founder of Blackwood Martin & Associates advertising agency (now CJRW-NW), and Neal Pendergraft, a Fayetteville lawyer.

Construction of the $1.5 million building should be completed by July 1, Fennel said. He will then move the Italian restaurant from its current 2,800 SF location at 324 W. Dickson St. to 5,500 SF on the ground floor of the new building. In its new location, Bordino’s will have 116 seats in the restaurant and another 40 in the bar.

The mixed-use development is at the corner of Dickson Street and Campbell Avenue.

An additional 4,000 SF of office space in the building is available for lease.

Fennel leases the 9,500-SF building at 324 W. Dickson St. that houses Jose’s Mexican Restaurant, Jose’s Streetside and Bordino’s, all of which comprise Jose Inc. He owns the 0.17-acre lot where the Bordino’s is under construction.

The new building was designed by Miller Boskus Lack Architects of Springdale.
