A partnership managed by real estate baron Jim Lindsey has plans to buy Benton County Title & Abstract Co.
The title firm that was established in 1892 employs 36 people. It was one of the first title companies in the state and currently has offices in Rogers and Bentonville.
Lindsey said the acquisition is an independent investment and separate entity from Lindsey Management Inc. or Lindsey & Associates Inc. He called Benton County Title a “good company,” but financial details of the buyout are not being made public.
“We want to help orient the company to service a large area of the real estate community and other Realtors,” Lindsey said.
