Kathy Nelson, owner of The Plaza Restaurant in Rogers’ Village on the Creeks, said she plans to move the business this spring to Bentonville Colonnade.

The Plaza will have a little less space in Bentonville (4,585 SF compared to 5,003 at the old location), but Nelson said visibility will be greatly increased. The new restaurant will be on Walton Boulevard at Rainbow Curve.

The Plaza will be open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. seven days a week at the new location.

Nelson said the quality of the food and service won’t change after the Plaza moves to Bentonville. Yoshi Yamamoto will still be the general manager. And Russell Williams will still serve as chef.

The Colonnade will also be home to Lemon Grass, a Thai restaurant that has leased 2,800 SF.

The Colonnade is a $4 million project being built by Dixie Development of Fayetteville, said David Reed, Dixie’s president of construction. It includes two one-story buildings totaling 38,600 SF. Construction began in May. Building shells should be completed by December.
