Dozier Technology Group, an information technology service company launched a year ago, is making a name for itself among Benton County’s retail vendor community.
James Palazzi, vice president and marketing specialist for Dozier Technology Group, said the firm specializes in custom computer systems and software applications, particularly systems with tablet computers. Dozier has an agreement with Motion Computing of Texas, a tablet computer manufacturer, for its custom systems.
Palazzi said Dozier offers a “one-stop shop” that analyzes the customer’s needs, provides the necessary computer equipment and designs custom software to fit it.
“We do custom computers, computer repair, custom software applications, server support, Web design and hosting, e-mail hosting and information technology consulting,” Palazzi said. “We do it all.”
He said the company doesn’t have a main brand of equipment it provides.
“All our stuff is custom, so it’s whatever suits their needs.”
Company owner Nick Dozier owned and operated Cougar Digital in downtown Fayetteville before launching his new business in a 1,700-SF office in Pinnacle Tower. Cougar Digital provided computer repair and retail services, but Dozier wanted to cater to vendors, Palazzi said.
The startup investment made by Dozier should be back in hand by the end of 2004, Palazzi said, although he declined to reveal the figure.
Dozier has four employees, but expects to double its employees within a year.
