Simmons First Buys South Walton Land

Rogers-based Simmons First Bank of Northwest Arkansas recently closed a deal on a piece of land on South Walton Boulevard in Bentonville’s Regency Park office complex that will soon become its eleventh location in the area.

Tom Spillyards, president of Simmons First, said approval from the Arkansas State Banking Board has been granted, and he expects construction to begin about the first of next year. Plans are so new, he couldn’t guess at how big the office might be or what construction costs might run.
