DeBriyn’s Daughter Appears in Wal-Mart Spot
A television commercial airing nationally for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. includes a familiar face for Razorback baseball fans.
Former Diamond Doll Carrie Jo DeBriyn, 24-year-old daughter of former longtime UA baseball coach Norm DeBriyn, is the pretty brunette who pulls off the yellow smiley-face mask at the end of the commercial about the “roll back man,” which is set to the tune of Johnny Rivers’ “Secret Agent Man.”
Norm DeBriyn said his daughter took a job with Wal-Mart after graduating from college with a degree in business management. During a 19-week training program in Missouri, she was asked to participate in the commercial.
She returned to Northwest Arkansas in December and is now working in human resources at J.B. Hunt.
