Dotson Joins George’s New Bank
Dotson by George
We understand Danny Dotson has joined Don Gibson and Patrick Swope in Gary George et al’s yet-to-be named banking venture. Dotson will be the business development and marketing person for the bank.
Dotson was with First National Bank of Springdale for 10 years as vice president of business development and marketing, and then was a vice president with First Security Bank of Searcy after FNB was purchased last year for an undisclosed sum.
Gibson said he and his coworkers plan to make major announcements about some of the pending bank’s specifics later this month.
Glo Girls
Elizabeth Rush, 19, and sister Leah Rush, 21, bought the upscale Glo Limited spa in August from Linden Siems and Erin Bridges. The sisters Rush, who are both University of Arkansas students, declined to disclose the acquisition cost of the business in Fayetteville’s Singletree Plaza on Millsap Road.
But they did say the firm will keep its six employees and continue offering a cadre of pampering services such as deep-cleaning facials and makeovers. Glo, available online at www.glolimited.com, also sells a variety of bath and body retail products.
The baby sister said they work well together because she’s getting a business degree and Leah Rush is getting her bachelor’s in apparel studies.
