McDonald?s Plans New Restaurants

Mathews Management Corp. of Springdale plans to open two new McDonald’s restaurants — in Stilwell, Okla., on Sept. 21 and in Centerton in 2005.
Bill and Walter Mathews, the franchisees, said they moved the McDonald’s restaurant in the back of the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 406 S. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville to the front of the store around Aug. 1. The move could increase the restaurant’s revenue by 30 percent, Bill Mathews said.
Mathews Management currently owns and operates 23 McDonald’s restaurants in Northwest Arkansas.
