Nice Morning News Story on City Spending (Outtakes Opinion)
We enjoyed reading the well-researched story on city and county government spending by Jeff Niese and John Anderson on the front page of the Aug. 8 issue of The Morning News.
We figure people need to know that the city of Rogers spent $75.43 on ferret food during the first six months of this year and $1,800 for a set of golf clubs for a water employee’s 20th anniversary.
We would like to see more stories like that from all four area dailies.
