CJRW/NW of Fayetteville will handle online and retail promotions for Tyson Foods’ new $75 million protein power advertising campaign.

CJRW/NW, a division of Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods of Little Rock, has worked on advertising campaigns for Springdale-based Tyson Foods in the past.

The “Powered by Tyson” campaign will emphasize Tyson Foods as a protein provider rather than just a poultry company. Tyson bought IBP Inc., a beef and pork processor in Iowa, two years ago.

Tyson hired Faith Popcorn’s Brain Reserve for strategic brand analysis and Arnold Worldwide of Boston to replace DDB Worldwide as its agency of record on the account.

In addition to those agencies, E. Morris Communications in Chicago handled ads intended to reach black consumers; Lopez-Negreté Communications in Houston handled Hispanic marketing; and Noble & Associates of Springfield, Mo., handled marketing to food-service providers.

The national campaign, which is scheduled to begin Aug. 30, will feature television spots and ads in magazines such as People and Redbook.
