Demolition is slated to begin June 14 on the lot at 310 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville.

The lot is home to a 1,250-SF building that serves as headquarters for Jose Inc. and was known as Jug Wheeler’s Drive-In in the 1950s.

Joe Fennel, owner of Jose Inc., said he may preserve the existing building and use it as bathrooms for a new two-story, 13,000-SF structure he is planning for the site. The new building will house Bordino’s, an Italian restaurant, downstairs and offices upstairs. Jose Inc. includes Bordino’s, Jose’s Mexican Restaurant and Jose’s Streetside, all of which are located in a building two doors west of the Jug’s building.

Fennel said the Arvest automatic teller machine will be removed from the site in early June.
