The first building at Creekside Place will be the Pinnacle Bank Building. Creekside is a planned 115-acre, mixed-used commercial development on both sides of New Hope Road east of Interstate 540.

Dr. Tom Morter, a spokesperson for Creekside Development LLC, said the four-story building will be about 80,000 SF and house VeriSource Inc., Terminilla & Associates Inc. and a yet-to-be named title company. He said the almost-open-for-business start-up bank, headed by Joe Mills, has signed a letter of intent to lease the bottom floor of the building.

Officials at VeriSource said the development will include the crème de la crème in terms of computer connectivity and networking.

The Creekside “north island,” about 25 acres east of the planned St. Mary’s Hospital, will be developed first and is planned to be a financial institutions and community retail mecca.

The 90-acre “south island” is planned to be home to restaurants, retail, pharmacies and even hotels, Morter said.

There is no schedule for completion, but dirt work was to start the first week of June.

Members of Creekside include: Morter, The Nabholz Group Inc., Nabholz Properties Inc., Nabco Mechanical & Electrical Inc., Terminilla & Associates, Terry Johnson, and CHIS LLC.

Creekside got a $9.7 million loan through Simmons First National Bank of Conway on Jan. 30 for the purchase of 90.6 acres of the land.
