Logan?s Slated for CMN Spot

CBRL Group Inc. of Nashville, Tenn., plans to build a 8,060-SF Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant on 2.43 acres at the corner of Shiloh Drive and Mall Avenue in Fayetteville’s CMN Business Park. The new restaurant will seat 281 diners, according to plans filed with the Fayetteville Planning Commission.

Logan’s Roadhouse was founded in 1991. Currently, CBRL has 96 company-owned Logan’s Roadhouses and 16 franchise restaurants in 17 states. The stores, which are modeled after 1930s and 1940s roadhouses, feature steaks as well as hamburgers and other meals.

CBRL also owns Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. There were 480 Cracker Barrel stores nationwide as of Aug. 1, which was the end of the company’s fiscal year. CBRL saw revenue increase by 6.1 percent in fiscal 2003 from $2.1 billion to $2.2 billion. Income jumped 16.6 percent from $91.8 million to $106.5 million.
