We understand that Terry Johnson, CFO of VeriSource in Rogers has donated a 1989 Chris Craft yacht to Rebuilding Together of Northwest Arkansas.
The 37-foot boat was appraised in November at $125,000, but the organization is asking a mere $75,000 of prospective buyers. Proceeds will go toward the nonprofit’s cause. With twin 270-hp Crusader engines, two-bedrooms, two toilets, a sleeping capacity of eight and a top speed of 21 knots, it sounds like a bargain.
Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit organization that repairs and revitalizes housing for low-income owners. It helped with eight homes last year and has plans to work on 12 in 2004.
