Little Rock-based Cross Gunter Witherspoon & Galchus PC recently expanded its offices to Fayetteville’s downtown square. The 1,200-SF Fayetteville branch houses the offices of lawyers Missy Leflar and Susan Keller-Kendall.

Leflar said she’s pleased with the firm’s decision to expand into Northwest Arkansas.

“This enables us to better serve our Northwest Arkansas clients,” Leflar said. “We’re constantly traveling up here from Little Rock.”

CGWG already had offices in Fort Smith.

The firm focuses its practice primarily on employment, labor, immigration and health law. The Fayetteville branch plans to concentrate on immigration, labor and employment concerns.

Leflar, 43, said she limits her practice to employment and immigration law. Keller-Kendall, 30, does the same but has plans to delve into construction and health-care law.

The firm is happy to serve any business from a local “mom-and-pop” setup to the huge national corporations.

Leflar and Keller-Kendall share an office with their legal assistant, Mona York. Both Leflar and Keller-Kendall are trial lawyers and are active in leading education seminars for clients. Leflar also has taught courses at the University of Arkansas.

Cross Gunter Witherspoon & Galchus has 22 lawyers and more than 25 employees companywide. Offices are connected through an extensive electronic intranet system and law library.

The Fayetteville office was financed by the firm, which declined to disclose its startup costs.
