Not Run of the Mill (Opinion)

We would like to say thank you to the Northwest Arkansas Times for publishing a brief but thorough definition of a “mill” (as used in property taxes) along with a Page 1 story on Nov. 11.r

Newspapers frequently write about mills but don’t take the time to define just what the term means. As the Times stated, a mill is one-tenth of a percent and is usually applied to the assessed property value.r
