Bakery Will Open on School

La Maison des Tartes, a bakery, will open in mid-November at 481 S. School Ave. in Fayetteville’s Mill District development with a five-year lease. r
Vince Pianalto, David Lewis and Kristina Jones are partners in the bakery. The eatery tested its products at the Fayetteville Farmers Market this season. Pianalto’s family had a restaurant in Tontitown that closed in May 2003. The artisan-style bakery will serve european-style breads, tarts and pastries made from scratch as well as a selection of paté, handmade sausages and gourmet cheese.r
Coffee will be provided by Kennedy Coffee of Bentonville. The eatery plans to design wedding cakes and special events and occasionally offer high tea.r
