Stephens Media Buys Hawgs Illustrated

Stephens Media Group of Little Rock has purchased Hawgs Illustrated, a Fayetteville-based magazine that promotes University of Arkansas athletic teams.r

Clay Henry, who has served as publisher of Hawgs Illustrated since its inception in 1992, will continue in that role, according to an article published Oct. 2 in The Morning News. Hawgs Illustrated is published 19 times a year.r

The magazine was owned by Sports Magazines of America until it was purchased by Henry and George Billingsley in 1998.r
