Open just a few months, Sport Clips has already become a success. Area Developer and owner, Clete Brewer, is busy expanding the franchise to Rogers this fall and Fort Smith this winter.r
Brewer is the former CEO of StaffMark Inc.r
The men and boys hair-care salon offers a sports theme environment and continual television sports coverage. Sport Clips stylists specialize solely in men’s hair-care and are labeled “Guy Smart” by the franchise. Brewer’s Fayetteville location is 1,400 SF., and managed by Melissa Gustinr
Clete Brewer said, “It’s a fun place to get a haircut, the only problem you might have is you might leave looking too good.” r
The salon offers cuts and services ranging between $10-$15. One of their most popular services is the All-Star Massage, a $5 treatment leaving customers feeling pampered. Sport Clips is a Paul Mitchell signature salon. r
The Sport Clips franchise was purchased through Sunbelt Business Brokers and was personally financed by Brewer. Brewer selected the Sport Clips franchise with the feeling that hair care is recession-proof. r
Brewer hopes to open 50 locations within his region of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southern Missouri. By the close of the year, Brewer will have 9 Sport Clips locations.
