Timing is everything for Jeff Mahin, owner of RazorTech Services of Fayetteville. Mahin opened RazorTech last summer with the goal of providing timely, in-home computer repairs and upgrades.
Mahin will service any ill PC, new or old, anywhere in the Northwest Arkansas region. RazorTech offers customers 24 hours per day, on-site services. The firm also installs various software products.
“‘We’ll be there when we say we’ll be there’ is the motto of RazorTech,” Mahin said. RazorTech also provides PC upgrades, diagnostic services and system set-up services.
Mahin previously ran a similar business in Missouri for six years before relocating to the Fayetteville area in 2001. His computer savvy is a product of 45 college credit hours in computers and years of trial and error experience.
RazorTech employs Mahin and one other network design specialist. Mahin has no immediate plans to expand his offices or staff.
Mahin said, “staying home-based and small keeps us close to our target, coming to the customer as soon as we can.”
Mahin declined to disclose his startup costs.
