Laserscope cosmetic treatments are now available at the Rogers Medical Center. The non-invasive procedures have been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in soft tissue, areas of enlarged blood vessels, and vein and hair removal applications, offering an alternative to cosmetic surgery.

Dr. John Huskins, family practice physician at the Medical Center, said laser treatment eliminates scarring and the recovery period that often accompany surgery. The most expensive procedure is facial rejuvenation/peel, and spider veins – which are $300 per session, and generally require 4-6 sessions. Hair removal is less expensive. Laser treatments are far less costly than surgery.

Laser procedures are administered in increments, usually requiring about six treatments, depending on the complexity of the procedure.

Rogers Medical Center is part of Mercy Health System, a non-profit, faith-based health system that includes St. Mary’s Hospital, Mercy Health Center and Mercy Medical Clinics located in Rogers, Bentonville, Bella Vista, Lowell and Pea Ridge.
