Carriage Square to Get More Woodworks Homes
Woodworks Plus of Farmington recently purchased 30 more building permits valued at a combined $2.46 million to continue its construction of 80 homes at a west Bentonville subdivision.
Carriage Square, located off Arkansas Highway 102 near Kristyl Heights and Eagle Crest subdivisions, has 189 lots.
Jim Lemons of Bentonville is the developer of Carriage Square.
Homes at the subdivision will range from 1,350-1,575 SF.
Walker Brothers Moving West
Walker Brothers Insurance of Springdale on Oct. 15 purchased a building permit valued at $778,610 to build a new facility in west Springdale.
Walker Brothers’ current office is at 130 N. Main St. near Emma Avenue. Its new home will be at 6800 Isaacs Orchard Road near the southern entrance to the Har-Ber Meadows addition off U.S. Highway 412 near Tontitown.
Architectural Construction Inc. of Springdale will be the general contractor on the project, which will be 10,000 SF.
Walker Brothers was founded in 1932.
Lazenby Continues Kristyl Construction
Bill Lazenby of Lazenby Construction Co. in Fayetteville recently purchased six building permits valued at a combined $637,232 to build more homes at a southwest Bentonville subdivision.
Homes at Kristyl Heights subdivision range from 1,550-1,700 SF and will be priced from $90,000-$120,000. Lazenby’s latest homes there are on SW Natchez Court, SW Apache Court and SW Cheyenne Drive.
Windwood Subdivision to Get More Homes
Ralph Walker of Walker Construction in Centerton recently purchased five building permits valued at a combined $605,855 to add more homes to a large southwest Bentonville subdivision.
Windwood subdivision, off Arkansas Highway 102, will have about 400 homes. Walker’s latest construction will be on SW 20th Street and SW Marquette Road.
Homes at Windwood will range from 1,500-1,900 SF. They will be priced from about $95,000-$115,000. The lots will include fully sodded yards, while the houses will include maintenance-free brick exteriors, ceramic tile, cherry cabinets and architectural shingles on the roof. Some will have Jacuzzi tubs.
University Area Gets More Apartments
Jerry Sweetser of Sweetser Properties and Sweetser Construction in Fayetteville on Dec. 6 purchased two building permits valued at a combined $556,400 to begin building a new apartment complex near the University of Arkansas.
Noble Oaks III will be at 1387 N. Leverett Ave.
It eventually will have four buildings with 96 apartment units. One- and two-bedroom units will be available.
Sweetser hopes to have the apartments ready for occupancy by next fall.
