Darren Layman, Jack Kackley and Mark Hayes worked together for a luxury car dealership in Tulsa years ago and advertised their cars in Northwest Arkansas. That store eventually became a Redline Motorsports. Now, the trio has brought the cars to the customers, opening Redline Motorsports in downtown Fayetteville.

Layman said he’s not sure how much the total startup costs were for the new dealership, because a lot of money has gone into fixing up the 7,000-SF building at the corner of Spring Street and College Avenue. A bank loan financed part of those costs, but Layman said the rest came from investments by the company owners.

The dealership can display as many as 35 vehicles at a time.

“I’ve got everything from a $9,000 car to a $60,000 car, and I’ve sold $100,000 cars before,” Layman said.

Redline offers pre-owned cars by Mercedes, Jaguar, BMW, Lexus, Infinity and any other foreign or domestic luxury vehicle maker they can find.
