Delta Systems Inc.

Rogers-based Delta Systems Inc. said net profit jumped 112 percent in its third quarter, which ended Sept. 30, compared with the same period in 2001.

On. Nov. 5, Delta Systems said its revenues were $3.36 million, well ahead of the $1.59 million from the third quarter of 2001.

The PC-based motion-control company said its revenue increase was in spite of the continued difficult capital equipment market in North America. Delta Systems had a 6 percent decline in revenues for 2001 from the second quarter, blaming that on seasonally slow order bookings from the early summer.

Delta Systems projects 2002 revenue to exceed $12 million. Also, it expects 2003 revenue to be between $18 million and $22 million.
