Messer to Open Pro Image in Mall

Brian Messer of Tulsa was scheduled to open his fourth Pro Image store on Sept. 12 in Fayetteville’s Northwest Arkansas Mall. The company’s other three stores are all in Tulsa.

Messer has leased a 989-SF space near the mall food court.

“We did the old pick-location-over-size sort of thing,” Messer said from his cell phone on Sept. 9 while driving a U-Haul truck full of the store’s inventory from Tulsa to Fayetteville.

Pro Image sells logoed sports apparel, including caps, posters, pennants and key chains.

“Everything for the sports fan,” Messer said. “It’s a college and pro team fan shop.”

Messer said Pro Image will stock Arkansas Razorbacks items as well as paraphernalia from other teams.
