Steve Smith Country Preparing for New Home

Steve Smith recently purchased a building permit valued at $1.37 million to begin construction of a new facility for his Springdale automobile dealership.
Currently located at 515 S. Thompson St. in the heart of Springdale’s business district, Steve Smith Country plans to move to its larger new building by late February or early March.
The new home will be at 6372 W. Sunset Ave., between Springdale Tractor and Har-Ber Meadows.
Steve Smith Country is a Pontiac, Buick, GMC and Jeep dealership.
Smith said the new “modern and updated” facility will be about 30,000 SF. It will be on a 10-acre site owned by Smith. He has leased the current location for the past 17 years. Smith said the new lot will be able to hold between 150-200 vehicles, almost double what his current lot can hold.
United Builders General Contractors Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor on the project.
