Airways Freight Corp. CEO Dale Caudle can add majority owner of to his title at the Fayetteville company.

In early July, Caudle purchased the stake his father, Edd Caudle, had in the business. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Edd Caudle founded Airways Freight, originally known as Caudle Freight Services before changing names in 1980. The company has just under 100 employees and had about $30 million in revenues in 2001.

Airways Freight recently expanded its office building on Wedington Drive, adding 15,000 SF to the existing 22,000 SF, 13-year-old facility.

Airways Freight is an airfreight forwarder offering international freight services by air and ocean. It also has domestic air and ground service. It deals with everything from nuclear power to public utilities and their vendors.
