Business Journal Honors 40 Under 40
The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal is pleased to present its sixth annual “40-Under-40” list of top executives throughout Northwest Arkansas. This annual list recognizes and profiles the region’s up-and-comers under the age of 40. Members of the 2002 class could be described as having already “arrived” in their respective fields, while others appear to be on the fast track toward success.
This year’s list of nominees, which was submitted to us by our readers comprises a wide array of individuals who serve in key positions within their companies as well as participate and lead in the area’s communities, civic organizations and political arenas. Obviously, these individuals represent all ends of the business spectrum. New and established business sectors represented include public and private companies, banks, professional services and governmental entities.
During the preparation of this year’s “40-Under-40” list, we were quickly reminded that communities and regions across the nation constantly face the issue of developing the next generation of leaders in business, schools, government, churches and civic organizations. Fortunately, over the past two decades, Northwest Arkansas has had the pleasure of being “home” to some of the world’s most recognized leaders in business and industry. Once you finish reading about this year’s list of recipients and their accomplishments, we’re sure you’ll agree that Northwest Arkansas’ future remains bright.
We hope you will enjoy learning more about this outstanding group of leaders in Northwest Arkansas. We also welcome your nominations for next year. They can be sent to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, 121 N. School Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
