In late June, Mike Jones left the Rogers Hometown News, where he had served as editor since January 1998, to work in the publication department for the Sam’s Club division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., said Mike Brown, publisher of the Hometown News.
Lucas Roebuck, former managing editor of the Northwest Arkansas Times in Fayetteville, is serving as interim editor of the Hometown News until a replacement for Jones is found.
The Rogers Hometown News is a weekly newspaper owned by Community Publishers Inc. of Bentonville.
