Coenco Scores Congressional Chat
We noticed that Fayetteville’s Frank Siccardi, president of Coenco Inc., was chosen as the Arkansas 2002 Small Business Administration’s Person of the Year. But what’s not been reported is that Siccardi has been asked to speak before a congressional subcommittee during the May 6-8 National Small Business Week ceremonies in Washington, D.C.
Congress apparently wants to hear more about Siccardi’s energy-efficient climate control equipment, which operates in short incremental stages to maintain uniform temperature in large buildings such as manufacturing facilities, gymnasiums or even retail stores.
The equipment is already being used by many large corporations such as Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Allen Canning Co., which have recorded significant heating and cooling savings.
Politicos are motivated to reduce the United State’s dependency on foreign oil, and in addition to helping companies burn less fuel, Coenco believes it can help companies exceed environmental standards.
