Mercy Hires Illinois Man as Chief Operating Officer

Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas hired Edward Mirzabegian to fill the newly created position of chief operating officer, Mercy President and CEO Susan Barrett said in a press release. Mirzabegian, formerly a vice president of clinical services at BroMenn Healthcare in Normal, Ill., will fill the position May 1.

According to the release, Mirzabegian has 20 years of health care experience, and he received a master’s degree in health service administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill.

Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas includes St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers and Mercy Health Center in Bentonville.
