As recent graduates from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Mo., Travis and Deanna Bachert opened Bachert Family Chiropractic in Rogers. The clinic offers chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture treatments to patients of all ages.

Together, the Bacherts operate the clinic in an 1,800-SF office that has two exam rooms. The Bacherts would not disclose the initial cost of opening the clinic, but Travis Bachert said each chiropractor can see a maximum of 125 clients per week.

Bachert said he and his wife plan to rent part of the office to a licensed massage therapist soon.

The husband-and-wife team first met as students at Logan College, from which they graduated with bachelor of science degrees in human biology. Deanna Bachert hails from Idaho, and Travis Bachert, who also has a University of Arkansas bachelor’s degree microbiology with a minor in biochemistry, has family in Rogers.

They married in January of 2001, seven months before graduating, and they are expecting their first child to be born in May.
