Joann E. Killeen, president and CEO of the Public Relations Society of America, spoke to the Northwest Arkansas PRSA chapter March 27. The meeting was held at James at the Mill, the Johnson restaurant.
Elise Mitchell, owner of Mitchell Communications Group Inc., spearheaded the effort to start the Northwest Arkansas chapter last summer. It is considered to be one of the fastest-growing PRSA chapters in the country.
Killeen is president of Killeen Communications in Los Angeles. She has been a member of PRSA’s Counselors Academy for more than 10 years and was elected to its College of Fellows in 1994.
