Stephens Changes Business Desk

Stephens Media Group said in January that Michael Tilley has been named regional business editor, supervising the business staff at the Southwest Times Record in Fort Smith and coordinating business coverage with the Morning News of Springdale. For the past year, Tilley served as business editor at the Times Record. Both newspapers are owned by Stephens Media.

Steve Caraway, a reporter for the Morning News for the last seven years, began serving on Jan. 28 as assistant regional business editor and will supervise the Morning News’ business staff from its office in Springdale.

Wesley Brown, who for the past 18 months had been business editor at the Morning News, has moved to Little Rock, where he covers business for several Arkansas newspapers served by Stephens Media’s statewide news bureau.

Although the staffs of both papers will be coordinated together, the sections will continue to be tailored for each readership area.
