C.D. Lounge Doors Close

Chung Lin closed C.D. Lounge in early December, and John Dortch was busy cleaning the place up to reopen it when we went to press.

Art Stiles leased the bar at 402 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville to Lin and Jeremy Ross in October 2000, and it was operated as C.D. Lounge until the December closing. Stiles owns Art’s Place at 2530 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville and operated the Dickson Street club under the same name before selling the business to Lin and Ross. Ross left the business and moved to Chicago several months ago.

The Dickson Street property is a prime location in the middle of Fayetteville’s entertainment district and next door to Jose’s Mexican Restaurant.

Stiles said the new bar will have more pool tables and will more closely resemble the old Art’s Place at the same location.

We were unable to locate Dortch to find out when the new bar will open and what it will be called.
