Jimmy and Cheryl Wright and C. Roy and Glenda Wright formed JCCG LLC to open Tire Central in Northwest Arkansas. C. Roy Wright said the newly constructed 9,000-SF building in Lowell will be the flagship location for a chain of up 20 stores throughout the area.

C. Roy Wright manages the Lowell headquarters. He said the company plans to open up to five more stores within six months. It took about a year to plan and build the Bloomington Avenue store.

With three double-bay garages and 3,600 SF of showroom and office space, the Lowell location will stock inventory for future stores. Wright said the shop should average sales of 1,200-1,500 tires per month.

Tire Central stocks Michelin, BF Goodrich, and Cooper tires, but other brands are available to order. Prices in the shop include cost, installation and balancing for the tires, C. Roy Wright said.

He said the shop sets itself apart from other similar businesses by emphasizing a clean and comfortable wait for customers. Sparkling floors, a bright showroom and an entertainment area complete with a VCR and children’s videos should help pass the time for Tire Central’s patrons.
