Shiloh Travel closed its doors Nov. 21 after 30 years of serving Northwest Arkansas travelers. The client base will be picked up by Springdale’s Around the World Travel.

It is not a merger, and Shiloh’s client list has not been purchased by AWT. But Shiloh senior travel consultant Paula Nail has joined the AWT staff.

AWT owner Phil Mayo said his company has the potential to increase its sales by 50 percent. Phone calls to Shiloh’s office in Springdale will be rolled over to the AWT office. AWT will be adding to its staff in January.

Jeanne Justis Harp said her retirement and son Jeff’s spending time with the United States Air National Guard played the main role in her decision to close the business the Justis family founded 30 years ago.
