Pinnacle Developers Plan Client Jet Charters
Pinnacle Point’s heavy hitters are taking off again.
Developers Collins Haynes, Bill Schwyhart and Robert Thornton just bought a Diamond 1A business jet they plan to offer for charter to clients in Northwest Arkansas. The trio, organized as Pinnacle Air Group LLC of Rogers, has reached an agreement with Central Flying Service of Little Rock to operate the multimillion dollar aircraft as part of Central’s FFA certificate.
The addition will take Central’s charter fleet to 11 jets, all of which are Barons, BeachJets and King Airs.
Pinnacle Air will retain ownership of the jet, which features an enclosed lavatory, full bar, leather seats and baggage compartments that we’re told are roomy enough for skis. It will hold eight passengers and travel at more than 500 miles per hour.
The goal is to operate the jet for 50 to 80 hours per month, and its charter price will be $1,650 per hour. We’re told that additional aircraft acquisitions are planned.
Schwyhart told the Business Journal that Central’s 65-year safety record, which includes not one injury, solidified the fixed-base operator as Pinnacle Air’s first choice. The aircraft will be available for charter within the next 30 days.
Fayetteville aviation consultant Russell West advised both parties on the deal and will handle the venture’s marketing.
