A local Web design firm has broken into the big leagues.
Pixel Benders of Rogers, a division of NWABusinessOnline, just signed a contract with Executive Solutions Inc. to do in-house graphic and Web production for ESI and its clients.
ESI, a 20-year-old target-market research company in Long Island, N.Y., boasts such high-profile customers as The National Football League, Anheuser-Busch, Tommy Hilfiger, Citibank, Lipton, AT&T and IBM. ESI will resell Pixel’s services for a referral fee, and the local firm gets both the added revenue stream and big-time exposure.
Pixel Benders, which specializes in design and developments for broadband technology, apparently impressed ESI with a site it created for a Northwest Arkansas company. The Rogers jewelry store KaratCarat’s Web site, www.jeweleronthecreeks.com, caught ESI’s eye, and that led to Pixel Benders landing the design account for www.executivesolutions.com.
NWABusinessOnline, an online directory, was started in a one-bedroom apartment. Mike Hall and Justin Williams are its principals. Glenn and Sharon Livingston, both professors in marketing and psychology, are principals of ESI and another firm called The Looking Glass.
Williams declined to discuss the financial terms of the ESI contract but did say it will be a substantial revenue source.
