Hot Topic to Open Store in Mall

Hot Topic, a clothing store that caters to teenagers, plans to open a 1,741-SF store in Fayetteville’s Northwest Arkansas Mall in July, said Alice Bishop, the mall manager.
The store will take over space that is currently occupied by an automated bank teller machine.
Hot Topic Inc. is a mall-based specialty retailer of music-licensed and music-influenced apparel, accessories and gift items. The company, based in City of Industry, Calif., currently operates 290 Hot Topic stores in 45 states, one Torrid store and an Internet store at www.hottopic.com and www.torrid.com.
