Lindsey to Build Apartment, Golf Complex

Lindsey & Associates Inc. will soon be building its first Bentonville apartment/golf course complex.

The complex will be located on 40 acres off Moberly Lane, south of Arkansas Highway 102 and just west of Sunshine School and Ozark Guidance Center.

The Links at Bentonville will likely be an executive nine-hole layout rather than the par-3 layouts at The Greens at Lakeside Village in Fayetteville and The Links at Lowell. An executive course is usually around a par-30 or 32 for nine holes.

Construction has not started on the project, which had its planned approved April 17 by the City of Bentonville.

Lyndy Lindsey is the golf course supervisor for Lindsey’s 20-plus courses that range from par-3, executive and 18-hole layouts. Lyndy has designed all but one of Lindsey’s 20-plus courses.

An added bonus for members of the Lindsey courses is the Gold Card Club, which enables members of one Lindsey course to play any of its other courses with member privileges.
