Long Announces Departure From KHBS/KHOG-
Carolyn Long, 44, anchorwoman for KHBS/KHOG-TV, Channels 40/29, recently announced that she is leaving the station so she can spend more time with her family. She is married and has three children. Long’s last day will be July 15.
Long, a native of Denver, served as a reporter and anchorwoman for KARK-TV, Channel 4, in Little Rock before moving to Northwest Arkansas.
Long came to 40/29 as a news anchor nine years ago, working first out of the station’s Fort Smith newsroom. She moved to the Fayetteville office five years ago. Long served as anchor on the station’s 5 and 6 p.m. weekday news broadcasts prior to her departure.
