Simple Pleasures Bath & Garden offers a variety of bath- and garden-themed gift items.
“A lot of my garden variety gift items have garden themes,” owner Amy Wood says. “I have a few chests that have garden fronts on them. I have some garden furniture. I have some silk arrangements. I have some soaps and scrubs for the gardener, and there are some real nice hand tools and gloves.”
Simple Pleasures also carries fountains, planters and statues. For indoor decorations, Wood has rugs, pillows and other items that carry a garden theme. She also has a selection of hand-painted items, some of which she painted herself.
The bath portion of her shop contains a variety of products from all over, including lines from Aromafloria, VitaSpa, Upper Canada and The Thymes Ltd.
“I had always thought in the back of my mind I would like to have a little gift shop,” Wood says.
Wood plans to begin a gift basket service later this summer.
